We had an absolutely wonderful vacation with our two young children. We spent most of our time on the patio by the water where our children played in the water, caught frogs and minnows, and explored the bay. We could relax and let our children explore because of the shallowness of the water. We loved the privacy, space and quietness of the location. It was so relaxing to end our days with campfires and incredibly beautiful sunsets. The cottage was very clean and well maintained and you were excellent hosts, going out of your way to make sure we had what we needed. Our kids enjoyed it so much they didn’t want to leave and kept asking if we could come back - it was one of the best holidays we’ve had as a family.

Anna and Paul, thank you so much for the extra care you put into making our
stay at Whisper Sunset Cove so enjoyable. The cottage and grounds are
immaculate, all we had to do was unload the van and relax. We took our
shoes off at the door as we could tell how clean the cottage was as soon as
we stepped in the door. The cottage was very well equipped, even with a
night light in the bathroom for those late night ventures there. The
kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, even a blender. We
loved the table by the window and enjoyed our first breakfast of bacon and
eggs looking out at the water.
The Queen bed was very comfortable, the two dressers in the room were used
to put our clothes away so we didn't have to feel we were living out of a
suitcase. I still cannot get over how quiet and peaceful our stay was. You
could almost hear a pin drop.
We enjoyed watching the sunset every evening by the fire, the stars and the
milky way were easily seen.
We enjoyed kayaking right from our very own beach area, as well as all the
local smaller lakes and rivers. We left our kayaks outside at night and
felt very secure with that, we knew they would not be disturbed.
We also enjoyed having a satellite TV to watch on those evenings when
you just want to stay in and relax with microwave popcorn and a good movie.
When we decide to head back to the Bruce Peninsula we will not book anywhere
else as your cottage was perfect for us, close enough to Sauble Beach and
Wiarton but far enough that is was quiet.

What a great cottage...quaint and cozy and the view was beautiful and calming! The sunsets, canoeing, camp fires, the water, everything was better than we expected. Our three-year old daughter swam, painted rocks, fed the fish off the end of the dock, and had so much room to run and play she didn't want to leave. It was so easy to relax and enjoy the quiet all day long and the sunset and stars at night were a spectacular way to enjoy the evening.
The cottage was perfectly situated. We were able to sight-see all that the Bruce Peninsula offers and returned to our cottage for peace and tranquility.
We wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how much we enjoyed the cottage, it was easy to feel at home and had everything a young family could have asked for.
