Thank-you so much for hosting us at StoneHaven cottage this summer. We were so favourably impressed when we arrived and discovered how spacious the cottage was, much larger than we expected. We were also very impressed with the comfortable beds and furnishings, not to mention the well-appointed kitchen. We over packed by a mile with lots of household items you often won't find at a rental cottage, and then found we needed none of them. Your attention to detail is meticulous and we were just really pleased with every aspect of our holiday.
My daughter had a fabulous time playing in the large yard where we also picnicked and had little nature walks. She spent hours and hours at the waterfront gathering and stacking stones, and we enjoyed swimming together in the nice clear water. Everyone loved the fire pit overlooking the water. "Sunset Cove" it was indeed for us as we watched the sunset nightly and even witnessed an amazing meteor shower that we will remember forever.
Our family has such a wide range of ages from toddler to seniors, and there was something for everyone. We enjoyed the swimming, the sunny waterfront and fire pit, the very comfortable cottage interior and fireplace. We found boat rental very close by and enjoyed relaxing fishing as well as the beach at Red Bay and Howdenvale where the endless sandy shallows appealed to everyone.
Thank-you again for being so gracious and helpful. We had a terrific time and most heartily recommend StoneHaven for families of all ages!

I first want to thank you both for the wonderful hospitality you showed during our week at Stone Haven. We had a marvellous week of relaxation in the sunshine of The Bruce. Hiking, golfing, and touring were lotsa fun - but the memories that shine the brightest are those at Stone Haven. Magical sunsets - starglitter in the night sky - merganser ducks playing at dawn - fresh air - soft breezes - and.... quiet !!!
But to really enjoy all that, it helps if you have a warm fire at night, a cozy bed to leap into afterwards, and plumbing that works. On every count, Stone Haven rocks. Thanks to your hard work.
Your refund cheque arrived on Friday morning. You guys are FAST ! If only all Canadians ran their businesses as efficiently as you do, there would be far fewer 'complainers' and far more 'doers' ! Congratulations on a very well-run hands-on operation. I know how much effort it takes, and in our case it is very much appreciated.
I'm attaching several photos from our week which I hope will be of some use to you, should you wish to use them in your advertising. If not, they'll at least provide you with a glimpse of Stone Haven through our eyes.

Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye, we tried to be out on time & things were a little crazy. Wanted to say we had a beautiful week & absolutely loved the property. The kids enjoyed swimming right out front. The sandy beach area beyond the stones was unexpected…we took our 18 month old in for the first dip ever! The cottage was bright & clean, the décor & furnishings quite pleasing & such big rooms. Lots of trees & privacy to play & roam & the lovely grassed waterfront with dock was ideal sunset viewing & nightly bonfires for family time. Early mornings found us canoeing the shoreline by sunrise! Tobermory, Lion’s Head & Sauble Beach were fantastic destinations to explore plus ice cream, homemade fudge, French fries & amusement rides made it exciting!
